Volunteer

Be part of what makes Convention happen. Share your time and gifts, meet new people and help create a welcoming experience for everyone.

There's a Place for You

Convention happens because people from across the church step forward to serve.

Whether you want to help shape an area of Convention months in advance, serve throughout the entire week or simply give a few hours while you’re there, there are opportunities to get involved.

Volunteer opportunities vary in responsibility, time commitment and benefits. Explore the options below to find the one that works best for you.

Coordinator

Lead a specific area of the Convention experience.

Coordinators are appointed by Convention Planning staff to lead a program area. Their involvement begins before the event and includes planning, recruiting and preparing volunteers, and coordinating their team during Convention week.

Program Volunteer

Serve as part of a Convention program team.

Program Volunteers are recruited by Coordinators to help carry out the goals of a specific program area during Convention week.

Daily Volunteer

Give a few hours while you’re at Convention.

Already planning to attend? Event Volunteers can serve during portions of Convention week while still participating in the event. Opportunities may include worship ushers, seminar ushers, meal support and other roles.

Ready to Volunteer?

Tell us a little about yourself, your availability and how you might like to help. Convention Staff will work to connect volunteers with opportunities where your time and gifts can make a difference.
